Introducing Frankie!
Frankie is a miniature schnauzer, and the Therapy Dog at Endeavour Hills Specialist School.
“The primary role of a Therapy Dog for a facility is to provide companionship and emotional support. Therapy Dogs can particularly support people who experience behavioural, emotional, developmental and mental health conditions, and physical disabilities.” (Guide Dogs Victoria)
Through structured and unstructured encounters, Frankie is a source of support, love and friendship for all our students, and can regularly be seen wandering throughout the school, wagging her tail, looking for her next playmate!
